The central motto of
the Ouspensky Foundation reads as follows:
"Do not believe
anything, but verify everything yourself open-mindedly."
It is important, therefore, to study the teaching with an open
mind, i.e. without any prejudice. However, if no attempt is made
at trying it out, you will not experience the value this teaching
may have for you. It is crucial to do exercises and to find out
for yourself what the effect is of a particular exercise.
Each month, the Foundation will describe an exercise related to
its work. On the exercises and resulting observations, correspondence
can be exchanged with Dorine.
Exercises used before can be found in the exercise
file.
Before you go to sleep,
let your day pass through your mind like a film. Do not interpret,
just observe where you stand still.
